Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union's wedding video might have been modeled after the cutest rom-com ever, but it sounds like the pair is settling into real life quite nicely! According to People, Dwyane Wade recently opened up about parenting and his life with his lovely wife — and from the looks of it, it's still a Hollywood-worthy love story!

In an interview with Ocean Drive magazine, Wade had nothing but the sweetest things to say about Union. "My wife is very, very, very smart when it comes to everything in life," Wade said. "She can give me a different perspective sometimes, support, other times."

"She's seen a lot. Her voice is wanted not only from me, but the kids as well," Wade continued. Any couple in a similar situation could tell you that merging new spouses and step-kids could potentially turn into a sticky situation. But Wade, a shooting guard for the Miami Heat basketball team, has never been one to back down from a challenge. "They have a mother and she's not trying to replace their mother, but in our household, she's the lady in charge and they respect her for it."

Union also recently discussed parenting with Wade in an ad for her new partnership with Tylenol's #HowWeFamily campaign. "How I grew up, everyone was included and everyone counted, she said. "So marrying into a family of three boys and becoming a step mom to three kids is an extension of how I grew up. The more the merrier. Everyone counts; everyone has a space."

An adorably sweet relationship and tackling real life issues? Sounds like this is not only an adorable love story, but a realistic one as well. And what could be better than that?
