Cheree Berry Paper (Above)
A fine paper favorite of prep-set brands like Jonathan Adler and J. Crew, this St. Louis-based studio has a New York City-based team that liaises with city couples on all aspects of their wedding stationery. They are best known for creating whimsical, clean designs with unexpected details, bold graphics, and vibrant colors, while also adhering to a fun and detailed design process that invites creative touches such as die cut shapes, interactive stamps, and even custom typefaces. Katie Fischer Design NYC Whimsical Wedding Stationary

Katie Fischer Designs
This boutique design studio broke into the bridal market with an array of watercolor invitations that were at once fresh, modern, and romantic. Owner Katie Fischer and her team have since expanded into collections of save the dates, invites, and reception details, as well as creative innovations such as dress portraits on fine pastel paper, and watercolor "stories of us" that illustrate how a couple fell in love. Custom projects begin with an inspiration board curated by a bride's wedding details — such as her dress and venue — and spark a graceful and creative design process between Katie and client, where she turns the event design into a cohesive stationery story. Katie's innovative design and high level of craftsmanship have carried her business into corporate brand materials, such as logos, business card, and package design. Read real brides' reviews here!

Nic Studio NYC Whimsical Wedding Station

The NicStudio
Quirky, funny, and sweet (with an edge), The NicStudio is a stationery and illustration studio based in Brooklyn that creates invitations that highlight moments in life. Artist Nicole Block claims to be heavily influenced by her outer-borough Brooklyn landscape — albeit in a "decidedly non-hipster" way. Her designs portray the "real New York City" and the people, places, and things that make it so great. Case in point? A recent invitation for a dessert and dancing reception at the historical Colony Club on Park Avenue featured an illustration of the storied streetscape with a dancing couple in the foreground. A lamppost and street signs her offset printed on the RSVP in black ink. Read real brides' reviews here!

Lion in the Sun NYC Whimsical Wedding Stationary

Lion in the Sun
Melinda Morris' parents open the first Lion in the Sun in Huntington, Long Island close to 35 years ago. Their passion for creating important keepsakes for memorable life occasions always stuck with Melinda and she has since grown the family business exponentially, first opening a second (warm and cozy) Lion in the Sun storefront in Park Slope, and later by creating PostScript Brooklyn, the brand's New York inspired custom wedding invitation collection. While both LITS locations still stand, the PostScript Brooklyn custom invitation collection is an ideal solution for the modern New York bride. It offers urban-inspired and sophisticated invitations, a product of collaboration with a wealth of artistic talent located in Brooklyn. The versatile designs are highly customizable and can be digitally printed or letterpressed for a more couture look — and the Lion in the Sun team is always willing to wordsmith your invitations to best convey your personal style. Smock NYC Whimsical Wedding Stationary

Smock is an eco-friendly stationery line located in Syracuse, New York that specializes in stylish invitation suites with countless customizable fonts, patterns, and techniques. While they offer foil stamping, digital printing, and blind embossing, Smock's letterpress printing work is majorly stunning, as it's done on antique presses with fine artisan bamboo paper (they were the first print shop in the US to offer bamboo). Smock's bamboo paper is not only beautiful, it's a pesticide and fertilizer-free blend that has been custom created specifically for them. If that were not eco-conscious enough, Smock is also a wind-powered facility that donates one percent of sales to environmental causes via 1% For the Planet. They further limit their environmental footprint by providing bus passes for employees. Read real brides' reviews here!
