Here comes the bride! Picking the perfect song to march down the aisle to can seem like such a daunting task. You want it to be a good representation of you, your values and the right fit for the wedding, of course. But did you know that how, or rather, who, you choose to play that processional music on your big day can speak volumes about you as well? Listen up brides, because we're breaking down what having a string quartet or a wedding singer really means. Warning: Descriptions do not apply to all!
You've been planning your big day ever since you were old enough to walk and talk. In fact, at one point in your life you thought you might grow up to be a wedding planner yourself! You're detail-oriented, determined and a girly-girl at heart with a take-charge type of personality that typically gets you what you want. Your beauty game is always on point, and you present extremely well. Obviously, tradition is important to you too. Our guess is you're having a fairly large wedding with all your friends and family in attendance.
In other words, you were totally inspired by the Vitamin String Quartet and are most definitely having a sophisticated modern wedding that breaks with tradition, although not 100 percent. You march to the beat of your own drum, yet were willing to compromise with your parents on the whole live instrumental music thing. Plus, it's different without being too different, right? Your friends would describe your style as bohemian, hipster or perhaps a little bit rocker. You enjoy traveling, trying new foods (shared plates please) and attending any type of shows really.
Whether you go for something contemporary or classic, there's no doubt you put a ton of time and thought into your song selection. The mere fact that you've opted to have someone perform it live says a lot about you and your personality. You're a deep thinker, likely introverted and every decision you make in life is done with careful consideration. The idea of having all eyes on you isn't really your thing so what better of a distraction than a soloist for your walk down the aisle? You're extremely creative and a wonderful listener.
A DJ Recording
Laid-back, down to earth and chill are just a few words that describe you. You're not a big "music" person in the first place so splurging on a band or cellist for your ceremony simply wasn't a top priority. The food and drinks took precedence, and of course having a DJ to help create that fun, party atmosphere you desire was a must. You're the girl that gets along with everyone and has friends from all different walks of life. You're charming, funny and so not high-maintenance, which your man loves.
