The morning-after wedding brunch is filled with a huge variety of emotions: Happiness, relief, nostalgia, you name it. With the big party over and the commitment made, the brunch is a great time for newlyweds to remember the fun and enjoy the company of their family and friends while basking in the newness of their marriage. Seeing as most couples plan some sort of day-after activity like this, we created a playlist of songs to play so that the mood stays light, joyful, and sweet.

Any song that has a message of togetherness and love is perfect. Some of our favorites include Florence + the Machine's "You've Got the Love," Eagle's "Take It Easy," and Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours." Other tunes that convey the sheer excitement of being married are also totally appropriate — Bright Eyes' "First Day of My Life," Gotye's "In Your Light," Fleetwood Mac's "Everywhere," and The Beach Boys' "God Only Knows" are ridiculously gleeful and ideal background music.

Basically, any song that puts you in a good mood and makes you want to celebrate with the people you love is one you should include on your wedding brunch playlist. Whether it's an oldie like Mary Wells' "My Guy," or a newer hit like Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars," we're pretty sure there's at least a song or two on our playlist that'll speak to you. Hit play, make note of the ones you love, and get pumped for the best morning of your life!
