Your signature drink should be just as special as your wedding day — and something you'll enjoy toasting with at anniversaries years later. These Miami mixologists are just the ones suited for the mission of crafting your ultimate wedding-day cocktail.
Radio Bar's Teddy Collins
The bartender hailing from Providence, Rhode Island has made the rounds mixing drinks at a slew of Menin Hospitality spots over the past five years, starting at Shelborne's former Vesper American Brasserie and now calling Radio Bar in SoFi home. The dive bar-style den's upscale spin on cocktails makes it a favorite watering hole for locals who come for the ever-changing menu of off-the-wall libations like the Forbidden Dance, a mix of Cachaça 51, Flor de Caña 7, maraschino, lime, agave, grapefruit and peach bitters.
Macchialina's Will Rivas
After stints around Miami starting beverage programs at 1826 Khong River House and Fontainebleau's Gotham Steak, Will Rivas is now know for his signature ingredient-driven cocktails at the Italian taverna Macchialina. While the bartender is getting many demands for Negronis these days, his fresh farm-to-glass cocktails are also a hit, crafted to suit your style.
The guys behind Bar Lab — Elad Zvi and Gabriel Orta — are known for starting one of the hottest spots on Miami's craft cocktail scene, The Broken Shaker. Now with their full-service management company, the duo not only offers cocktail creation and consulting, they've also become masters of cocktail catering, so your drinks will be just as hip as you'd find at the best bars in town. The team behind the bar can do everything from décor to food and drinks, so all you have to do is decide what type of handcrafted cocktail you'd like on the menu, all using fresh produce, specially selected spirits and hand-pressed juices, of course.
The Rum Line's Rob Ferrara
Before taking the helm at The Rum Line's cocktail program, Rob Ferrara racked up a few awards like "Best Bartender" while behind the bar at another Miami staple, Swine Southern Table & Bar. From bourbon-fueled libations to drinks taking on a more tropical rum-induced twist, Rob's repertoire of cocktails with housemade mixers and fresh ingredients bridge the gap between classic and modern cocktails that can be molded to meet just the style you're looking for.
Philip Khandehrish at The Setai
Named "Miami's Most Imaginative Bartender" by Bombay Sapphire, the mixologist has a knack for playing with flavors and ingredients like those found in his winning drink, the Alluring Gem, comprised of lavender-infused Martini Bianco and a "Sapphire Scrub" crafted from juniper, coriander and angelica. If you're more of a classic cocktail kind of girl, the mixologist can also work with traditional techniques to create favorites from the Golden Age of Bartending, like the centuries-old Milk Punch — a blend of bourbon, brandy and heated milk — that's making a comeback in Miami's bars.
CORSAIR's Rob Floyd
Nicknamed the "liquid chef" thanks to his molecular mixology skills, the curator behind CORSAIR by Scott Conant's cocktail list has also worked with big-name restaurants across the country like The Bazaar by José Andrés in L.A. and Chateau Marmont. Believing that "a toast is never just a toast, but a celebration of a moment in time to be cherished together," Rob's got just the passion needed to make your signature cocktail one that you and your guests will never forget.
