One of the most romantic wedding themes? An enchanted secret garden. To help you nail the vibe for your own big day, we're breaking down all of the elements you need to pull it off:

First, you're going to need flowers — and lots of them. Floral arrangements should overflow with sweet, feminine varietals (think lilies of the valley, peonies, and garden roses) and be loose and relaxed (draped garlands, rambling centerpieces, plenty of greenery). A palette of soft neutrals with subtle metallic hits will boost the ethereal feel. For your bouquet, go for an array of colors and flowers that you might find in your dream garden, like fritillaria, hellebores, ranunculus, muscari, sweet peas, and hydrangeas in natural, subtle colors like coral, yellow, white and green. More is more here, so pile it on!

Set the mood for your bloom-filled bash with save-the-dates, invitations and other wedding stationery featuring artfully designed flowers, greenery and vines. Use these same touches on your wedding-day papers, like menus and escort cards, to keep the garden vibe in full.

Your wedding cake is also a perfect place to play with your theme. Keep the cake detailing understated with lush greenery and vines creeping up all-white tiers, highlighted with just a few pops of whimsical flowery color. You can even continue the climbing vines onto your cake topper, and make it feel personal with a simple, elegant monogram — like this custom paper topper from Concarta.

Flashes of gold will also help your enchanted garden nuptials seem even more, well, enchanting. Up the romance with gilded leaf-patterned place settings, like these Herend "Golden Laurel" plates. For even more sparkle and shine, add a pop of gold to your own bridal style with gilded leaf-odorned stilettos, like Kotur's snakeskin heels.
