Soccer player Abby Wambach had a lot of reasons to celebrate as the U.S. women's national team won the FIFA World Cup in Vancouver, Canada, last night. Not only was the winning game the end of her last World Cup with the team after 14 years, but she also got to celebrate the big moment with her wife, Sarah Huffman.

After her team defeated Japan 5-2, Wambach rushed over to the stands, where her wife of two years leaned down and shared a celebratory kiss with her. Unsurprisingly, Twitter took note of the moment, mentioning how it unites two major events for the U.S. in the past few weeks — first, the Supreme Court recognizing same sex couples' right to marry nationwide and second, the first World Cup title for the U.S. women's team since 1999.

Twitter user Cole Ledford wrote, "Abby Wambach celebrating with her wife is my real #RelationshipGoals," while another, Ellie Hall, ecstatically Tweeted, "ABBY WAMBACH KISSING HER WIFE, A UNION NOW RECOGNIZED THROUGHOUT THE USA, IS A PRETTY NICE ENDING TO THIS WORLD CUP."

Though her relationship got a moment in the spotlight last night, Wambach probably won't relish in the attention. When she and Huffman got married in 2013, she garnered interest because it was the first time fans knew of her sexual orientation; the newfound awareness surprised her. "I can't speak for other people, but for me, I feel like gone are the days that you need to come out of a closet," she told the Associated Press at the time. "I never felt like I was in a closet. I never did. I always felt comfortable with who I am and the decisions I made."
