Sweet Delights
Whether it's a traditional bride's cake in the "Bridal White" flavor, an exquisite one with golden chevrons, cascading peacock feathers, or cherry blossoms — or a groom's cake in a shape of a golf bag or a beer bucket, owner Roslyn Allen do it. She has more than 25 years of experience and has been featured on The Rachael Ray Show. Her custom, fresh-baked wedding and all-occasion cakes are available with pure buttercream (chocolate, too) icing, cream cheese, whipped icing and fondant (also in chocolate) — not to mention fun flavors like coconut, red velvet, margarita and champagne. Every one of the Spring-area cottage bakery owner Kristina Guilbeau's cakes, pies, tarts, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and macarons are made from scratch with “lots of love and attention to detail” using organic and locally-sourced ingredients. In business since 2013, Guilbeau intertwines classic simplicity (like a three-tier white cake) with new artistic trends like watercolor, ruffled layers, gold leaf, and darling dessert tables.

Houston Wedding Cakes Who Made the Cake

Who Made the Cake! By Nadine Moon
Award-winning River Oaks baker Nadine Moon is known as a "confectionary artist" who builds ornate cakes that have guests asking, quite appropriately, “who made the cake?” She studied at the Notter School of Confectionary Arts and the Alain and Marie Le Notre Culinary Institute and has been designing cakes full-time since 2002. Specialties include realistic handmade sugar flowers and bows, hand-painted details, carved 3-dimensional cakes, and grandiose VIP confections like Sir Elton John's birthday cake and a Texas cake for Matthew McConaughey. Moon stays booked, so lock in an appointment at the same time you're securing your date and venue. Read real brides reviews here!

Marlene Romero Cakes
Seasoned baker Marlene Romero's pristine cakes are spotted consistently at Houston's most-talked-about weddings. Couples in the know call her immediately after getting engaged because she stays booked sans website, which speaks volumes about her classic cakes and meticulous attention to detail.

Susie's Cakes & Confections
A city staple since 1981, Susie and her team are known for classic fondant and buttercream cakes that also taste like heaven. But if you crave a creative cake — like, say, Van Gogh Sunflowers or a set of Louis Vuitton luggage, their artistry will create more than a sugar buzz at your wedding. Read real brides reviews here!
