5 Ways to Make Your Bridesmaids Fall in Love with You

Like it or not, weddings tend to bring out the worst in people, but you don't have to be that girl. We'll tell you how to get in your bridesmaids' good graces and win best bride ever along the way simply by doing the following five things.

1. Let them choose their own dresses
There's nothing a bridesmaid loves more than being able to have at least some say in the dress she wears. Pick a color and set some other ground rules if you must (like length, fabric, designer, style, etc.) then let your besties go to town finding a frock that suits them. They'll exude confidence on your big day, which will naturally translate in photos and make the getting ready vibes that much better.

2. Don't buy them all the same gift
Your girlfriends are all individuals with their own tastes and while one friend may love those tiny pair of hoop earrings you do, that same gift could clash with the rest of your pal's style. Trust us when we say you'll get a ton of extra brownie points if you really put some time, effort and thought into picking out personalized gifts for each girl.

3. Give the single girls a plus one too
If any guest deserves a plus one, it should be the single ladies standing by your side on your big day (same goes for your guy's groomsmen as well). Now, whether they decide to take you up on that offer is totally up to them, but it's a kind gesture considering all they are doing and have done for you thus far nonetheless.

4. Pay to pamper them the day of
It kind of goes without saying that if you want your girls to get their hair and makeup done for your big day, particularly in a complicated way, that you should offer to pay up and perhaps give them a few options to choose from too. Or better yet, let them select their own look and they'll really love you forever.

5. Don't talk about the wedding nonstop
Yes, it's your time to shine, but constant wedding talk is a big turn off for your 'maids. Don't get us wrong; they're dying to hear the deets and are beyond excited you're getting married. However, when wedding talk starts to dominate every single conversation and it seems like you're not all that interested in their lives anymore, well, you're not exactly a blast to hang out with, now are you? Plan girls' nights out, boozy brunches and spa dates that aren't based around the wedding to stay on their good side.
