WATCH: This Man's Proposal Video Doubles as a Tribute to His Fiancée's Late Father

If you're in need of a mid-week cry sesh, we've got a treat. Tyler Shelton always dreamt that when he'd ask his girlfriend of seven years, Haylee, for her hand in marriage, he'd go to her dad Greg for permission. Sadly, though, Greg passed away in April 2014 before Tyler could get his blessing. To honor his future wife's father, Tyler asked each of her siblings' permission, and recorded their conversations.

Interspersed between his phone calls and visits with each sibling, Tyler inserted clips of his adventures with Haylee.

Alongside a shot of Tyler and Haylee's dad, Greg, you can hear her brother Grant's voice saying, "Everybody in our family knows Dad would 100 percent want you guys to get married. He loved you for sure, just like a son as well." Cue the sobs!

Meanwhile, as the adorable exchanges are going on, Tyler writes and says to Greg: "Dear Greg, I'm going to marry your daughter. I always thought of how I was going to ask for your blessing one day, and now that day is here. I wish you were here to hand your baby girl off to me, so I promise to be more than you would ever want me to be."

"I want to be the man who shares her love and patience and gives her everything she needs. I'll tell her exactly how beautiful she is, and I'll show her how to believe in herself. I will take care of her," he continues. "I want to give her experiences people only dream of, and love her unconditionally, because I wouldn't want to see the world with anybody else."

This all culminates to the two getting a plane to go to Europe, and ending up in Rome, where Tyler popped the question. As you can imagine, Haylee immediately said yes.

"But most importantly," Tyler ends. "I'll make you proud to call me your son."

You have to watch this heart wrenching tribute above, and don't forget the tissues. This one's a killer.
