What We're All Wondering: Will Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth Televise Their Wedding?

Celebrity, TV & Movies

Just three days after The Bachelorette's Kaitlyn Bristowe got engaged to contestant Shawn Booth on national TV, they're already facing some serious wedding-planning questions. The loved-up duo talked location and even the possibility of broadcasting their nuptials during a press conference on Tuesday.

For starters, the Canadian Bristowe and her personal trainer fiancé are weighing two widely different options for where they want to tie the knot. "I would get married [in Vancouver]," Bistowe said, before Booth added, "Either there or Vegas with Elvis, we're still trying to figure that out."

Wherever they choose to get married, they'll have to make an equally important decision — whether or not to follow in the grand Bachelor/Bachelorette tradition and televise the whole thing. "We would consider it," Bristowe said. Booth added: "[It's] something we talked about for sure."

With their sweet, quirky personalities, we know their nuptials would be must-see TV. Regardless, they have some other crucial business to attend to before they make any concrete plans — Bistowe still needs to meet her future mother-in-law! "[I] definitely would love to introduce her to my mother within the next month at some point," Booth said, "and just be able to hang out with each other and get to know one another." Booth's mother did not attend the hometown date in which Bristowe met the rest of his family.

There's little doubt that they'll hit it off, though, especially if they take to each other the way Bristowe's family did to Booth. "I think it was just more of an eye opener. [They were] like, 'What are you doing? Obviously your connection with Shawn is stronger,'" she said of their thoughts on Nick vs. Shawn. "And I'm more myself with Shawn. So it's just kind of nice to be taken back to the real world for a second with my family and see that they definitely saw what I saw as well."
