We're in the thick of summer wedding season, when outdoor ceremonies and receptions reign and colorful details and flowers abound. It's the most popular time of the whole year to get married some 34 percent of brides get married in June, July, and August, according to our most recent American Wedding Study — which means it's jam-packed with ideas and inspiration. Often, summer brides celebrate the season with décor that embraces the best of the warmest months. With this in mind, we asked all of the brides on our Facebook page what kind of summery details they included (or plan to include!) in their weddings. Here, some of our favorite answers:

"My bridesmaid dress are going to be aqua." — Sarah Steil

"We're doing a sparkler send off and having a beach theme, so I made a sand message in a bottle, had earrings and necklaces made out of beads and sea shells and sand dollars, boutonnieres made out of starfish, and the ring pillows are huge seashells." — Brittany Laverdure
