After a stint as a ready-to-wear designer in New York City, Amy Kuschel moved to San Francisco, where she launched her collection of sleek, streamlined wedding gowns, suitable for ceremonies in regal Grace Cathedral and relaxed Napa vineyards alike. Best of all, each dress is made to order right upstairs in her sixth-floor studio. Read real brides' reviews here!
Christy Baird opened Loho Bride, an unconventional bridal atelier in the city's Potrero Hill neighborhood, last year to create an alternative to the old-school wedding showroom. Baird, who used to co-own the vintage gown line Daughters of Simone, features a well-curated selection of bohemian dresses from indie designers including Rue de Seine, Houghto, and Stone Cold Fox.
Bay Area brides craving a dress-shopping experience that's straight out of a rom-com should book an appointment at this San Francisco bridal institution located on posh Maiden Lane.
