Find your fashion muse.
"I got married in Italy, so I decided to channel Sophia Loren. I found a strapless Dolce & Gabbana eyelet sundress that worked great with my shape (it didn't need to be altered!) and made me feel so sexy. What more can you ask for as a bride?"
Know your shape.
"Narrowing in on a style icon as my inspiration allowed me to focus on a distinct silhouette that I knew worked well for my body. If a bride is unsure of what style she wants right away, I would recommend trying on a variety of styles, but understand what silhouettes are most flattering and will ultimately make her feel confident and beautiful on her special day."
Less is more.
"I knew I wanted to keep my bridal look relaxed and fuss-free, which is completely true to my style and design aesthetic. The detail of the sheer lace appliqué was so feminine and romantic that I didn't want to distract from it or overcomplicate the look. I kept my accessories minimal opting for a pair of Jimmy Choo ankle strap sandals, my "something old," which was my great aunt's rings, and my antique engagement ring. My favorite was my engagement ring — I cherish it and it felt really romantic to let it stand out "
Make it personal.
"I think a classic way to personalize a look is to incorporate a monogram. Engraving a piece of jewelry is an elegant way to add an intricate touch to any bridal look — not to mention creating a lasting keepsake that you can wear every day "
