If anyone should recognize that marriage is hard, it's one of the Real Housewives! Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey has had her entire relationship — even wedding! — documented on the hit Bravo reality series, and she's admitted that marriage does, indeed, take work.

"Marriage is tough!" Bailey told People at a luncheon in Southhampton this past weekend hosted by former Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin. Bailey's husband of nearly five years, Peter Thomas, was by her side for the event. "We have our own business, we're on a reality show together and we are husband and wife. That's a lot of togetherness," Bailey joked. "Sometimes you're like 'Wow, this is a lot!'"

She also revealed that the show has put a strain on her relationship in the past. "[Peter]'s great. It's been a great ride. The show has more than tested our relationship, but I think we're good," she dished. "And hey, God forbid we don't make it, we know we tried! We can walk away with no guilt because we know we tried it in ever way."

And with a milestone anniversary coming up later this year, they're planning to hopefully celebrate five years together in style. "We want to take off the whole month of December," she said. "I want to go to the Maldives and Peter wants to do St. Barts, so maybe we'll do both!"
