One way to guarantee you'll remember your honeymoon forever? (Aside from, you know, documenting the whole thing on Instagram.) Choose a perfume that's just for the occasion! Since scent and memory are so closely linked, whatever fragrance you wear will always remind you of that blissful vacation. Here, a few of our dream destinations — and the perfect fragrance to wear in each spot.

1. Paris
When in France, do as the French. In this case, that means wear Diptyque Paris Eau de Lavande. The lavender scent is offset with coriander seeds and cinnamon leaf, making it a super sophisticated floral. Lavender is also perfect for romantic Paris because it's known to be an aphrodisiac! Try the roll-on size, which is easy to stash in a carryon. ($48, available at Diptyque)

2. Patagonia
Going on a hiking trip with lush, pure surroundings? With notes inspired by mountain air plus green accords, the crisp Clean Air fragrance will fit right in. (And it isn't too overpowering that it will mask the environment's fresh, natural scent!) It also gets bonus points because the brand is environmentally conscious — which kind of goes with your whole vacation theme, too. ($20, available at Sephora)

3. Dubai
Oud, a woody, sensual scent, is one of the most popular notes in the Middle East. Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Desert Oud, which also contains amber and a touch of musk, just gets better the longer it wears on your skin — especially in a hot climate. ($297, available at Neiman Marcus)

4. Santorini
When you're lounging on the beach all day, basically the only beauty item you'll need — aside from sunscreen, of course — is a light, coconut-y fragrance like Coqui Coqui Coco Coco. The vacation-in-a-bottle scent smells so good you'll practically want to eat it! (Or does that type of reaction only happen to us?) ($80.50, available at Net-A-Porter)

5. Gstaad
A toasty, spicy perfume is just the thing for a cold-weather honeymoon. Jo Malone Nutmeg & Ginger combines — you guessed it — nutmeg and ginger with sandalwood and cedarwood to create a fragrance that's perfect for snuggling up by the fireplace after a day skiing on the slopes. ($65, available at Saks Fifth Avenue)
