Summer weddings are sunny and beautiful and all, but staying fresh faced can be a bit of a challenge in the heat. The solution? Look for lightweight, second-skin products that will make you glow — not glisten. Here, a few of our favorites.

1. Bare Minerals 5-in-1 Advanced Performance Cream Eye Shadow
It might masquerade as an eye shadow, but this product is so much more. It touts BB-esque brightening and anti-aging benefits, contains SPF to ward off sun damage, and lasts forever. The five neutral shades are perfect for getting that you-but-better beauty look, but you can also use one as a primer if you're partial to glamorous smoky eyes. ($18, available at Ulta)

2. Marc Jacobs Genius Gel Super-Charged Oil-Free Foundation
This foundation has a gel texture that imparts a barely there, shine-free finish. If you have a super oily T-zone, a touch up or two will probably be inevitable, so keep a stash of blotting papers on hand. But the buildable formula is very layering friendly — it doesn't make your makeup look like its caked on. ($48, available at Sephora)

3. Jouer Anti-Blemish Matte Primer
This oil-absorbing primer makes your makeup go on evenly and helps it stay that way. We especially love that it has skin-care benefits: It contains salicylic acid to treat and prevent blemishes, along with calming and redness-reducing ingredients like aloe, ginseng, and gingo biloba. ($38, available at Jouer )

4. Becca Luminous Body Perfecting Mousse
And don't forget about your bod! Use this mousse by itself or on top of sunless tanner to help to even your skin tone, hide imperfections, and create a totally-not-tacky, subtle glow. It's also water and transfer resistant, so it won't rub off on your white gown. ($34, available at Sephora)

5. Stila Aqua Glow Watercolor Blush
Don't be freaked out by the bright colors or netted pot thing: These might not look like your traditional blushes, but they are seriously foolproof. Just shake the jar, and use your fingertips or a blush brush to apply on the apples of your cheeks. They're water based, so they go on lightly to create a sheer, natural flush. ($26, available at Sephora)
