If you want classic with a side of cool, the ultra-hip Hotel ZaZa (a historic centerpiece in the Museum District) is the place. Its 6,600-square-foot Phantom Ballroom is a semi-circular room with a view of Mecom Fountain and Hermann Park as well as a capacity of up to 450 guests. Situated on a sprawling, green campus along Buffalo Bayou (just off West Loop 610 South), the Omni Houston Hotel is home to a new grand 10,000-square-foot event space — the Regency Ballroom, which has a pre-function mingling area with views of the lush outdoors, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows.
