Wedding at the Prospect Park Boathouse

New York City's hippest borough is home to some of the most spectacular places to tie the knot. Here are some of our favorite places to say "I do" in Brooklyn.

Prospect Park Boathouse (Above)
Tucked away in Prospect Park is the historic Beaux Arts-style boathouse, where you can exchange vows alongside serene Lullwater Lake. Hire a boat captain to give guests a tour on the lake during cocktail hour before heading inside to dine in the stunning Italianate white terra-cotta building, which dates back to 1905. Brooklyn Museum
One of the largest art museums in the country, the Brooklyn Museum is a stunning city landmark. Exchange vows in the modern, glass-walled atrium as sunlight streams through the windows, then dance the night away in the grand Beaux-Arts Court, which features historic archways, glass floor tiles and a gorgeous brass chandelier.

Brooklyn Winery, Williamsburg
A winery might not come to mind when you think of Brooklyn, but you and your guests can sip small-batch varietals made on the premises at this elegant yet modern setting. Ceremonies usually take place in the airy, glass-ceilinged atrium — which also features a spectacular succulent garden wall (read: no extra ceremony decor needed!) — followed by cocktail hour and dinner amid the winery's beautiful barn wood walls, zinc-topped wine bar, vintage furnishings, and the barrel room, which is filled floor-to-ceiling with barrels of aging wines. The Green Building, Gowanus
This loft-like space was a brass factory in its former life and is now a quintessential Brooklyn venue for creative, DIY couples to make their mark. The 2,400-square-foot courtyard is perfect for al fresco ceremonies and cocktail hour, while the main brick-walled space can acommodate 160 for a seated dinner and dancing. Brooklyn Grange
If you're a Brooklyn bride but have always dreamed of getting married on a farm, then check out this working pastoral venue located on the rooftop of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. This 65,000-square-foot farm has jaw-dropping views of the Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn and Queens, and, if you time your nuptials to coincide with sunset, your guests will be sipping cocktails amid beds of kale, tomatoes, and peppers as the city lights come alive.
