Love Is Love: Watch This Emotional Video in Support of Marriage Equality

Gay Marriage

With the Supreme Court's decision on same-sex marriage pending, and Pride Month in full swing, gay marriage is a hot topic right now. But to us, the decision is pretty simple: Love is love, and everyone should be able to get married. To help spread the, well, love, we made a video featuring some of the sweetest moments from gay weddings that will bring a tear to your eye and warm your heart — and most of all, prove that everyone deserves to get married.

The video opens with brides and grooms getting ready for their big day. Then, like any wedding, comes the tear-jerking first looks, where these same-sex couples embrace in excitement and with an overwhelming amount of emotion. Following the first looks, we offer a glimpse inside the ceremony.

Snippets from few couples' vows play over the excited walks down the aisle. "My sweet, my kind, my cherished beloved darling," says one groom. "This is the start of a life long love letter," says another bride. "Something I never imagined possible as a child, I get to say that David Pearlman is my husband," a teary groom explains. "And as you gaze into my soul," Michael Turchin, Lance Bass's husband declares, "this half of a man that stand before you, is now finally fully whole." "And I will love you for the rest of my life," another bride concludes her vows.

To sum it up: When it comes time for the Supreme Court to finally decide whether the Constitution will guarantee the right for same-sex couples to get married nationwide, we urge them to remember that love is love.
