Watch This Couple's Surprise In-Flight Elopement!

This is an elopement like we've never seen before! Boston couple Chas and Dina were traveling to Seattle to elope and then spend their post-nuptials vacation driving down the West Coast to see friends. But when their Jet Blue crew members found out they were heading to get hitched, they decided to throw them a ceremony of their own.

The attendants got incredibly creative: They decked out Chas in a paper bowtie, Dina in a garbage bag veil, and had them exchange "wings" and pronounced them "travel companions." There was even a bouquet of sugar packets! The ceremony was by no means legal, and they had to pull these two lovebirds out of their seats, but the end result was incredibly adorable and unique.

"We knew we wanted to get married years ago, but since we have about $50k in combined student loan debt and both currently work for nonprofits, we focused on paying down our loans and kept putting the wedding planning off," the couple wrote in the description of their YouTube video. "With our 10th anniversary coming up, we decided to just go for it. We hopped on a plane to Seattle from Boston (where we are from) and planned to secretly elope after road tripping down to San Diego, staying with (and surprising) friends along the way."

The couple joked that in comparison to their laid back plans, the Jetblue wedding was far more ornate.

"The 'wedding' that Jetblue (thankfully) put on for us was more elaborate than the actual wedding ceremony we had planned: we exchanged letters to each other at our secret ceremony instead of rings (or "wings"), and never in my wildest dreams did I think we would get a saxophone serenade (from a kind stranger) at any point during our trip," they continued. "Now that we're back (and finally MARRIED!), we're hoping to find a way to celebrate our new life as husband and wife with our amazing families and friends."

In the video's description, the couple linked to their actual wedding album on Facebook, which shows their sweet ceremony on a beach in San Diego.
