Everyone is loving Princess Charlotte, especially her great-grandmother the Queen!

While at a private garden party at Buckingham Palace this week, Queen Elizabeth II couldn't help but gush about the royal family's latest addition. One attendee (of the 8,000 invited to attend this private event), North London resident Susan Pollack, said that the Queen revealed how pleased she was to have a great granddaughter. "I told her I'm so happy at the arrival of another baby," she told Mirror of the conversation she shared with the royal matriarch. "She said, 'Yes, we love to have another girl.' She smiled at that. She was very relaxed and enjoying the event."

Pollack's daughter, too, had the opportunity to exchange a few well wishes with the Queen. "[The Queen] said how pleased she was to have another great-granddaughter."

According to Mirror, the party was naturally abuzz with excitement about the newborn princess, so much so that one guest had a slight flub when congratulating the Queen, which was quickly corrected by the royal herself. "I said [to the Queen] congratulations on your new granddaughter," another guest Carole Weston recalled. "She corrected me and said, 'No, great-granddaughter.'"

Ever since her May 2 arrival, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana has been capturing hearts all around the world. Now that the initial excitement from her birth has subsided, Prince William, Duchess Catherine, Prince George, and little Princess Charlotte are relaxing together at Anmer Hall in the countryside northeast of London and are focusing on sharing some quality, much-needed family time.
