It's the birth we've all been waiting for: Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed their second child — an 8 lb. 3 oz. baby girl — early Saturday morning.

Kensington Palace broke the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's happy news at 11 a.m. in London, and then took took to Twitter, saying, "Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cambridge, was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am."

Middleton, 33, gave birth inside the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital — the same wing where the couple's firstborn, Prince George, was delivered in July 2013. "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry & members of both families have been informed," Kensington Palace announced on Twitter. "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."

Prince William, 32, and his wife announced her pregnancy in September 2014. On April 14, preparations began at the hospital — and soon, the couple will present their brand-new baby to the world from the front of the medical center, just as they did Prince George.

According to Us Weekly, the couple will return to Kensington Palace for a few days before traveling home to their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk. Prince William will take two weeks of paternity leave from his Bond Air Services training, the magazine reports, as the new family of four settles back in.

Middleton will also take time off public engagements so she can spend time with the new baby. Next? We can't wait to hear her name!
