Before long there may be even more royal news: a wedding! Well, not exactly...
While on a month-long deployment in Australia, Prince Harry received a lot more love than he expected. One 21-year-old fan, Victoria McRae, who was appropriately wearing a sequin mini dress with the Australian fan, anxiously awaited the handsome young royal's appearance at the Sydney Opera House. Once he arrived, Us Weekly reports, she raised up a poster that read: "Marry Me Prince Harry, Last Chance!"
Politely as a royal should respond, Prince Harry gently asked McRae for time to "think about it" — it is a big decision after all! Coyly, she said she'd accept a kiss instead. Feeling generous, the new uncle bent down to offer his cheek for a kiss. McRae, though, seized the moment and landed a big on on his lips!
"I said I'd be happy with a kiss, and so he let me kiss him on the cheek, but then I went in for it," the hilarious Royal fan told Sky News of her carpe diem moment. "The rest is history. I'm very happy."
Harry wasn't the only man of importance she kissed, McRae also kissed Australian Premier Mike Baird on the cheek. Not that the second smooch made her at all excited like Prince Harry's kiss. "I got Harry's lips!" she exclaimed. "I only kissed the Premiere on the cheek!"
Kiss or not, Harry says he's been having a wonderful time in the land down under. "I thought we were going to turn up and there would be 10 people there, so it's a wonderful opportunity for me to say thank you to them," the royal told reporters at the event. "They have made me feel so at home here, It's going to be hard to leave — I don't want to go home, I want to stay here."
Of the kiss, he smirked and said: "I got more than one kiss." Ow ow!
