Party Down South's Lyle Boudreaux is getting ready for a wedding down south now — he just got engaged to his girlfriend Santana Bordelon!
"Wild Lyle" Boudreaux, one of the stars of the CMT reality show, popped the question over a Cinco de Mayo meal in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he's taping the fourth season of his show. In true Southern gentleman form, he set the mood for the proposal with lit-up red Solo cups, and rose petals scattered over his bed.
"I'm super excited!" Boudreaux told Us Weekly of his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, a bartender and hairdresser.
"My best friend said yes to marrying me, and I got approval from my roommates to go for it," he added. "This baboso is getting married!"
Though he's known for his hard-partying antics on TV, he got downright serious about the engagement ring. Bordelon shared an image of it on her Instagram shortly after saying yes, and it looks like her beau proposed with a round-cut diamond surrounded by swirls of pavé stones. "I'm marring my best friend!!!!! So in love with this boy! And ready to start our life's!!!" she wrote along with the snap. On a similar photo of her ring, she wrote, "Ima be a Boudreaux baby!!!!!"
For those not in the know, Party Down South depicts eight strangers who live together for a summer — a Southern-style Jersey Shore.
