Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj are setting the record straight: They're not engaged. But the two musicians are definitely in love, and that 15-carat diamond ring was definitely from Meek Mill, but it doesn't mean that there will be wedding bells any time soon. It just means the rapper gifts his mogul girlfriend some seriously pricey presents.

In The Fader's latest cover story, with Minaj right by his side, Meek Mill made their relationship status pretty clear. "It's definitely real," the rapper told the magazine of their relatively new romance. "But it ain't really time to get married yet. We're still learning each other, feeling each other out."

With news exploding about the heart-shaped, yellow-diamond ring, the rapper had to clarify the news to his grandmother, who, he admitted "whatever she sees on TV, she believes."

He also had to clear the air with someone else: his mentor and fellow rapper T.I. When he congratulated the couple at a restaurant, Mill reportedly responded "I ain't engaged."

"You never asked her, 'Will you be my girlfriend?' But she is your girlfriend," T.I. apparently replied. "You may not have asked her, 'Will you marry me?' But you are engaged... I've said my part, as long as you know what's going on."

For her part, the "Feeling Myself" singer definitely sees marriage in her future. "If I'm done with my fifth album and I don't have a child by then, no matter how much money I have, I would be disappointed, as a woman, because I feel like I was put here to be a mother," she told Complex last November. "I have definitely put off the wife thing because I don't want people in my business. I'd rather not do anything that's going to be on paper but I definitely will be married before I have my baby. I want to make sure I do it in that order. I've always felt like that since I was young; my mother always put that in my head."
