Kim Kardashian Admits She Made the First Move on Kanye West

We didn't see this one coming: Kim Kardashian says she's the one who chased Kanye West after she got divorced from Kris Humphris. The reason this is so shocking? Yeezy is known to have pined after the reality star for a long while before they got together. Plus, he always goes after what he wants, so it would only make sense that he was the one to make moves. But, according to Kardashian, she had a moment of clarity post-divorce and went for it.

"I was always attracted to him," Kardashian told Billy Bush on Access Hollywood. "When I first met him, we worked on a project together and there was definitely a spark, but we were in other relationships and we kept our distance, and that was that."

The timing, though, was never right. Until, of course, she split from Humphries. "And then, I think it was six months after I was newly single in 2012, I was like, 'Why not? Like, what am I waiting for?'" she added. "I called him because I'm sure it was really hurtful that I got married. And even though it's not like we communicated all the time, I knew what he was thinking. So I thought he was going to call me as soon as he knew that I was single again. And he didn't. And so I called him and I said, 'Hello? I thought you were at least going to call me and say 'I told you so,' something.'"

After that phone call, she took on a carpe diem mentality and the rest, as they say, is history. "In my head I was like, 'You know what? Screw it. Like, this is probably what I've been waiting for, it's been in front of my face,'" she said.

Good thing she went after him! Without her phone call, we wouldn't have little North, their epic Florence wedding, and, of course, their upcoming vow renewal on their first anniversary in Paris.
