Last season, Theia's Don O'Neill dreamt up a wonderfully wintry collection inspired by the magnificent Mongolian mountains. Luxe woven wool jackets, heavy knits, and unique embroideries made for an envelope-pushing bridal collection. This season, though, the designs are taking a turn towards the arts, with inspiration coming from a more imaginative point-of-view. "The show is inspired by the Victorian Art Noveau illustrations of Kay Neilsen for Hans Christian Anderson," O'Neill exclusively told us ahead of his Spring 2016 collection's debut this Thursday. "This season, my brides will have a whimsical fairytale quality to them."

Providing some imagery to match this specific source of inspiration, it looks like this season, Theia's dresses will be adorned in silver sequins, big floral beads, and metallic-painted silks. The detail work, as we've come to expect from this bridal designer, will be intricate. Pearlescent white beads outline vintage-inspired brocade-like sequin patterns, which we can only imagine swirling along a fitted bodice, while, other sets of white and clear sequins and beads join together to create a textured floral apliqué.

Of course, there's the Old World-looking groupings, too, of silver sequins and pearl beads to create an immensely luxe yet somehow still dainty finish. We can't wait to see how all these incredible embellishments come together at Theia's Spring 2016 bridal runway show.
