Reem Acra's runway shows always offer up a moment of absolute whimsy — from the floral flourishes to the sparkle and stylish silhouettes. This season offered another pretty collection full of the design aesthetic that makes her one of the most beloved names in bridal. And now, we have a close-up look at all of the exciting the behind-the-scenes action!

"This collection in particular is a lot of sheerness," Reem Acra told us of her Spring 2016 collection. "A little bit of nudity without it being overtly sexy." She's of course referring to the glistening embroidered bodice with nude underlays, the plunging necklines that still somehow manage to be romantic, and the layers of light fabric on the skirts that give the illusion of it almost being lingerie.

"There's a lot of embroideries like lace but they're really hand-embroidered," Acra mentioned of her signature, one-of-a-kind detail work. "Shapes that hug the body and enhance the body," she added. This collection of hers, in particular, was the most form-fitting, with structured bustiers off-setting airy A-line skirts and the romantic embellishments.

As for the bride that will like her designs? "The Reem Acra bride is very special, she's sophisticated, she's sensual," she explained. "We're talking about more than sexy, when she has the right dress on there's something that happens."
