Kids say (and do) the darndest things — even at weddings! Remember the little flower girl who scowled when Prince William and Kate Middleton shared that famous balcony kiss after the Royal Wedding? Further proof? Four-year-old Ashton Christopherson, who made his feelings on kissing public in a hilarious caught-on-video moment that's going viral.
In the clip above, Ashton's aunt and her brand-new husband are sharing their first kiss as a married couple at the altar when he lets out an audible "Ew!" at the sight. Luckily, the newlyweds are as entertained as they are surprised — both burst into laughter, and his aunt says, "That was awesome," before getting right back to smooching.
Even other guests at the wedding enjoy the comic relief: Ashton gets a high-five from his father, the bride's brother, as the camera pans away from the altar.
Videographer Davey Orgill, who caught the whole thing on camera, made his thoughts on the moment clear in the description for his YouTube video. "You gotta love kids at weddings," he wrote. "They are unpredictable. This was such a funny moment. Shooting weddings is so much fun. This was such a cool couple to be able to just laugh it off like that."
If the first moment of a marriage mirrors the wedding day, then we know the bride and groom are in for a lot of happiness and laughter!
