A Glamorous Las Vegas Wedding

Real Weddings

When Juan first laid eyes on Jessica, in a nondescript New Jersey classroom where he was leading a business course she'd signed up for, he knew immediately he couldn't let her out of the room without getting her number. And when, two years later, he decided to propose, he realized no place better reflected their love-at-first sight relationship than that very same classroom. Juan filled the room with Jessica's favorite flowers, and, with the help of her best friend, set up a multimedia presentation to coincide with his proposal speech. Needless to say, Jessica said yes, and the two tied the knot last September with a grand, elegant Las Vegas affair that celebrated their cultural heritage.

Jessica chose her Martina Liana gown because she loved the drop waist and tulip-shaped train. The statement necklace she wore with it was helped bring the drama to an already show-stopping look.

Jessica walked down the aisle with a bouquet of roses and calla lilies, to Jean Luis Guerra's "Como Abejo a Un Panal."

Jessica and Juan's poolside reception at the Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas was all about great food, great drinks, and epic dance moves.

To kick off the night, guests sipped on spicy margaritas and sampled canapes while a mariachi band played.

The two took the floor to Don Omar's "Danza Kuduro", and the male members of the wedding party (including Jessica's twin brother and "man of honor") followed with an unforgettable dance-off. In between rounds on the dance floor, guests munched on shrimp and scallop ceviche, tomato and mozzarella salad, halibut and seared filet.

Jessica and Juan ended the night on a sweet note with s'mores and a three-flavor cake: red velvet, tres leches, and coconut cream. Five months later, they jetted off to Fiji for their honeymoon.
