Lady Gaga's Engagement Ring Features a Sweet Message from Taylor Kinney (Plus, Find Out How Big It Really Is!)

If you thought you couldn't be any more envious of Lady Gaga's Valentine's Day engagement and heart-shaped diamond ring, get ready to be floored. After sharing a shot of the impressive Lorraine Schwartz-designed bauble, Gaga dished on a sweet hidden detail on her romantic new ring from fiancé Taylor Kinney.

When Kinney worked with Schwartz, one of Hollywood's most beloved jewelers, to create the massive engagement ring, he decided to skip a classic inscription in favor of something a bit more special. In the photo above, Gaga shared the blingy underside of her engagement ring, which shows a message from her husband-to-be. "My favorite part of my engagement ring, Taylor and Lorraine designed 'T [hearts] S' in white diamonds on the band. He always called me by my birth name. Since our very first date. I'm such a happy bride-to-be. I can't stop smiling!" she captioned the shot.

Yesterday Schwartz confirmed that she was the ring designer and even shared her own thoughts on the center stone. "The stone is big and quite beautiful, and actually more expensive than some of the estimates I have read," Schwartz said. She also offered a sweet congratulatory message to the pair on her Instagram account, along with the photo of the ring, seen above. "Congratulations to this wonderful romantic and super cool couple! Wishing you all the happiness in the world," she wrote.

Although she kept quiet about price and carat size, Zaven Ghanimian, CEO of Simon G. Jewelry, told E! News that he is confident the stone weighs in at around 6 carats. "I would estimate at least SI1 clarity or better, G color better. For a stone of this size and quality, the price could be up to $400,000," he said. "The setting looks to be a simple solitaire with pave diamonds down the side."
