Listen up, little monsters: Lady Gaga is officially off the market! After four years of dating (and several engagement rumors), actor Taylor Kinney popped the question on Valentine's Day with one seriously stunning engagement ring.
According to Us Weekly, Kinney presented his now wife-to-be a huge heart-shaped diamond engagement ring during a private proposal on February 14. The pair then celebrated their happy news at Lady Gaga's family restaurant, Joanne Trattoria, in New York City. When she stepped out today, the quirky singer kept her ring finger hidden, but ultimately shared a close-up shot (below) of her bridal bling on Instagram, writing, "He gave me his heart on Valentine's Day, and I said YES!"
Kinney also shared a sweet photo (above) of the couple at dinner with a similar caption: "She said YES on Valentine's Day."
While very exciting, their announcement doesn't come as too much of a surprise. Just last month Gaga gushed that she was certain she and Kinney would be together for the long haul. "I really can't imagine being with anyone other than who I'm with right now," the singer told Howard Stern in December. "He is the right guy. I have that feeling. I just know it."
The feeling is clearly mutual! In October People reported that Gaga couldn't stop singing Kinney's praises, even sharing that the Chicago Fire actor cries when he hears his lady sing. "He's the first man that I have dated that, when I sing on stage, he cries," she said. "That means more to me than anything."
In fact, Kinney has always been particularly supportive of Gaga's career, and the couple even met on the set of her "You and I" music video, in which the singer donned her mother's own wedding dress.
But don't expect to see Gaga wearing that fairly traditional look down the aisle on her own wedding day. She told Stern, "If I get married, I'll be hanging out in a pickup truck at a David's Bridal while my stylist is screaming at me."
