Tonight's 19 Kids and Counting Season Premiere: Jessa Seewald Talks Wedding Planning and Jill Duggar Opens Up About Married Life

Celebrity, TV & Movies

The Duggars and Dillards are living the happiest of ever afters! In sneak peeks of tonight's 19 Kids and Counting season premiere, we get a closer look at two of the most talked about relationships in the show's history: Jill and Derrick Dillard, who tied the knot last season, and Jessa and Ben Seewald, whose November wedding will be much of this season's focus.

First let's talk about Jessa and Ben. Now newlyweds who can't stop showing off how much they love kissing and writing to each other, the season opens with a look at their wedding-planning process. And let's just say, it's about the most laidback wedding planning we've ever seen! Talking about budget (as you always should discuss first), guest list (they're looking at a humble number of 1,000) and flowers (pick them from the backyard? Cool!) these two lovebirds seem impossibly calm when it comes to organizing the biggest day of their lives.

"Jessa definitely has her opinions about how things should be done," Duggar matriarch Michelle says in the clip, above. "Jessa is going to want things to be simple."

Simple is an understatement! During the first family-planning meeting, Jessa says she wants ice cream and sweet tea, she's happy to reuse Jill's décor, and is content with keeping things super-low key.

Now, to the other lovers in the family, Jill and Derrick Dillard, who are expecting their first child any day now! The two newlyweds tell the camera that they're loving married life. "She's my best friend, so we love being married," Derrick sweetly says before kissing Jill for what feels like the bagillionth time. Jill hilariously admits that a two-person house is a lot quieter than the 20+ person living space she came from — especially when it comes to cooking.

If the season premiere is any indication, it looks like both of the Duggar daughters are happy as can be!
