Deciding where to celebrate your bachelorette party is a tough decision. Do you want to stay local or go somewhere further away? Do you want a beach or city? Do you want to party all night long or enjoy multiple spa days? If you're having a bit of planning trouble, a new report has revealed the most popular U.S. cities for hosting your last party as a single lady.

The 2015 Bachelorette Party Report from online bachelorette party platform, The Bach, surveyed thousands of brides and bridesmaids both online and at wedding expos over the past year. Here is their list of the 15 most popular bachelorette party destinations:

1. New York City
2. Austin
3. Las Vegas
4. Chicago
5. New Orleans
6. Miami
7. Atlantic City
8. Nashville
9. Philadelphia
10. Boston
11. Dallas
12. Palm Springs
13. Napa Valley
14. San Francisco
15. Charleston

The report also revealed a number of trends about the pre-wedding party: 10 is the average number of attendees, though some have gone as small as three and others have had a veritable marching band come along with up to 40 ladies. Planning for the event seems to be a 20-something affair as most women who take the reigns of the celebration edge out at 27 and a half years old. Preparing for the fête skews to the first half of the year as January through July are the most popular planning months. Lastly, the actual party takes place in May through August — which isn't surprising since the summer is one of the most popular times to tie the knot.

A bachelorette party should be personal and special for the bride, but these stats can definitely give some great ideas for those in the beginning of the planning process.
