You don't need to lug your entire medicine cabinet with you on your wedding day. But a few beauty essentials are, well, essential. Before you leave the bridal suite, make sure you're toting these must-haves:
Even the long-wearing stuff usually needs to be reapplied after dinner. (The oils in your food can break down the pigment). Blot with a tissue, swipe on a layer, then blot again and add a second layer of lipstick for best results.
2. Blotting papers
Whether you've got oily skin or just know you'll be tearing it up on the dance floor, it's a good idea to stay on top of shine. Blotting papers, like Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens ($10, available at Sephora) will get rid of that pesky oil slick in a few quick pats.
3. Bobby pins and hair elastics
Keep them on hand just in case your updo starts to slip throughout the night. (They're also handy if you want to pin up your hair after things heat up on the dance floor.)
You'll be glad it's there in the event a blemish decides to rear its ugly little head.
5. Eye drops
Bright lights and flashing bulbs can be rough on your eyes. Give yours a little squirt if yours start feeling dry or looking red. Try Rohto drops, which celebrity makeup artists swear by for quickly getting rid of redness.
