Here They Are: The Best Wedding Songs of 2014!

The year is coming to a close, and that means one thing: It's time to declare the best wedding songs of 2014! This has been a year dominated by Beyoncé and Sam Smith, among others, so thankfully, there are a lot of emotional and downright dance-worthy tunes that made the rotation over the past twelve months. If you're planning a wedding for next year, you'll want to play some recent hits as well as throwbacks and classics, so we curated a Spotify playlist of some of the top Billboard songs to help you decide what to include!

As we said, Bey dominated the charts for a good portion of the year, and "Drunk in Love" pretty perfectly captures wedding-night bliss. Sam Smith, on the other hand, sang the first dance-appropriate "Stay With Me," in addition to fun "Latch" with Disclosure. The other popular first dance song that blew up this year was John Legend's "All of Me," which we obviously included — it was his own first dance song at his wedding to Chrissy Teigen, after all! Some of our other favorite pop hits that we know will make your reception an absolute dance party are Calvin Harris' "Summer," Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass," and, of course, Pharrell Williams' ubiquitous "Happy."

So sit back, hit play, and relive the best musical moments of the year, whether you're creating your own reception playlist or just want some great background music while you do some wedding planning!
