Wedding planning is stressful. There are endless decisions to be made, family drama to face head on and inevitable power struggles over the silliest stuff. However, there are moments where you will literally feel like you are floating on cloud nine because you just couldn't be any happier. And that's a fact, brides. Whether it's a trip to the florist or a menu tasting with your honey, here are the absolute best parts of wedding planning, according to married women.

Working with the florist
"My favorite part was working with the florist. Flowers can really add such a fun and vibrant element to the wedding photos so it was super important for me to find someone who could create exactly what I was looking for. Being able to work directly with the florist to actually draw out my vision was such an awesome experience." — Jenna

Writing the ceremony script
"I wasn't the kind of bride who went crazy on Pinterest or really any other part of the planning, but what I did really enjoy was writing our wedding vows. I pulled from templates and examples I found online and was able to write a nice, short script that truly fit our personalities. As someone who writes professionally, it was probably my single favorite thing I wrote all year."— Emily

Putting together the wedding slideshow
"I loved the creative process of making our personal wedding slideshow. I loved being able to tell our story through pictures and videos of ourselves growing up and illustrating to our guests how we met and fell in love."— Laura

Bringing the theme to life
"My favorite part of planning was the overall design. I am in love with antiques and vintage items; there's just something about the history of a piece that makes it so interesting. Coming up with the details of every aspect of the day and seeing it come to fruition was awesome!"— Jessie

Cake tastings
"My husband and I got married last November, and our absolute favorite part of the wedding planning was the cake tasting. It's funny because we don't have a sweet tooth, but we chose an excellent baker who presented us with dozens of options that we were totally into it. She also wowed us with her pumpkin cake and spiced buttercream, which was so different and autumnal that we had to go with it." — Lisa

Booking the photographer and videographer
"Booking our photographer and videographer was one of my favorite things because I had wanted them for a long time. They were out of our budget but met us at a price we could afford. I'm just so grateful to have these amazing memories to look back on for years to come." — Tara
