Brides Colorado: Why You Should Tie the Knot at This Mountainside Retreat

Colorado, Local, Planning Tips

Calling all winter-loving brides! If you've always dreamed of exchanging vows at a venue seeping with historical charm and endless mountain vistas, then Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa in Tabernash, Colorado is perfect for you. Don't get us wrong, it's an amazing venue to tie the knot at year round, but there's something inexplicably romantic about a white wedding at this mountainside retreat.

With indoor and outdoor facilities dating back to the Civil War-era, there's no shortage of beautiful backdrops for your ceremony and reception. But if we had to pick one location for your big day, it would be the Broad Axe Barn. With 25-foot-high vaulted ceilings and seven-foot windows, the incredible views of the Continental Divide become a key part of your décor. The space can accommodate up to 160 people, and even features a massive deck fit for an outdoor cocktail hour.

Throwing something super intimate? Their Timber House has a maximum capacity of 30 people. But if you're planning to host a serious blowout, The High Lonesome Barn holds 350 guests.
