6 Delicious Champagne Cocktail Ideas

Food & Drink

When it comes to creating your signature cocktail, just about any type of drink will work. But if you're looking for something particularly festive, consider champagne! While a classic flute of bubbly will always be a crowd-pleasing pick, we love the idea of amping up the flavor (and style!) of your reception bar with a sparkling signature drink. There are plenty of tasty concoctions to choose from, but we found six delicious mixes that are sure to be a major hit on your wedding day.

Cranberry Champagne Cocktail (above): Sweet champagne mixed with tart cranberry makes for a perfectly-balanced flavor. This tasty cocktail is perfect for any season, but as the holiday months approach, festive cranberry feels especially fitting. Serve them in gorgeous, ornate glassware, like these elegant options from Casa de Perrin, and you won't be able to get your guests away from the bar.

Ingredients (serves 8):
2 well-chilled 750-ml. bottles of champagne
1 cup well-chilled cranberry juice cocktails
3 tablespoons Grand Marnier, or other orange-flavored liqueur

Blackberry Thyme Champagne Cocktail: Packed with antioxidant rich blackberries and tons of thyme, guys will like this sip just as much as the girls since it's fruity and woodsy. Top with a few sprigs of fresh thyme or juicy blackberries for a fresh finishing touch.

Ingredients (serves 4 to 6):
1 bottle chilled champagne
1 cup fresh blackberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 bunch fresh thyme
1/2 lemon, juiced

Spiced Apple Cider Champagne Cocktail: Speak to your wedding season with this delicious, slightly spicy, slightly sweet bubbling apple-infused drink. Topped with apple slices and a cinnamon stick, this cocktail is essentially apple pie in a glass.

2 ounces Tennessee Cider or apple brandy
2 ounces fresh apple cider
3 to 4 ounces chilled champagne

1 cup strawberries, quartered
1 cup blueberries
2 small ripe peaches, pitted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 ounces orange liqueur

Fresh Peach Bellini: Instead of a mimosa, consider a Bellini. The combination of peach puree and your favorite bubbly is a sure winner, and it won't remind your guests of brunch! Make it even more delicious with a skewer of your favorite fruits.

Ingredients (makes 6-8 drinks):
2 ripe peaches, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1 bottle chilled champagne
