Our October/November issue is our 80th anniversary issue, which means we have to reflect on eight decades of wedding dresses, trends, brides, and advice. Not only did we take a look back at some of our coolest vintage covers, we also did something really fun: We rounded up the most iconic brides of the past 80 years! When you think about it, some of the most memorable weddings have happened in that time frame — Princess Diana and Prince Charles' royal wedding, President John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy's aristocratic Rhode Island affair, and a ton of TV and movie weddings in between. With all of those amazing moments, we got to wondering which bride stands the test of time as the most iconic. That's why we took to Instagram to ask our followers whose gown they preferred from four rounds. Who took the title in each showdown? Read on and find out!

Round 1: The Great Kate Debate
Both Kate Middleton and Kate Moss tied the knot in 2011. Though the Duchess's Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen royal wedding dress became an instant classic, there is really something special about Kate Moss's custom John Galliano for Dior gown. Though there was a vocal and dedicated group of Instagrammers who saw a certain je ne sais quoi in Moss's utterly glam dress, the overwhelming majority favored Middleton's regal lace number. Point: Middleton.

Round 2: Elizabeth Taylor vs. Herself vs. Herself vs. Herself
Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that Liz Taylor enjoyed eight weddings to seven different men. That means the gem-and-perfume-obsessed actress got to rock eight different bridal styles. From her classic 1950 wedding to Conrad Hilton, the fashion-forward hooded green silk gown she wore to marry Eddie Fisher in 1959, the mod yellow baby doll dress she wore when she married Richard Burton the first time in 1964, to the Valentino gown that graced the altar at her 1991 nuptials to Larry Fortensky, there's really something for everyone. But it was her traditional, first wedding dress that narrowly edged out the green number for the win. Point: Wedding #1.

Round 3: The Battle of the Over-the-Top Gowns
Melania Trump and Dita von Teese each made a major fashion statement when they married, both in 2005. Trump donned a custom Dior confection, with plenty of ruffles and sparkles, and topped with an ethereal veil. Von Teese, on the other hand, picked a gorgeous purple Vivienne Westwood gown to marry Marilyn Manson that she paired with a fun chapeau. Though both were fabulous couture pieces, Instagram overwhelmingly favored von Teese's non-white choice. Point: Dita von Teese.

Round 4: The Rock 'n Roll Brides
Both Bianca Jagger and Priscilla Presley married two of the biggest rockstars of the '60s and '70s, Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones and Elvis Presley, respectively. As such, they had to live up to the hype for their weddings. Priscilla's pearl-encrusted silk-chiffon gown was superbly late-'60s, and expertly worn with the cat-eye. Meanwhile, Bianca went totally untraditional for her 1971 wedding in a plunging white suit jacket and skirt. We thought that Bianca's fashion moment would take the crown, but voters loved Priscilla's more classic look. Point: Mrs. King of Rock 'n Roll

Thus ended our iconic bride showdown, but we had to leave the contest with a lasting image: That of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco. Who else?!
