And the wedding celebrations continue! It's been a month since George and Amal Clooney tied the knot, but the gorgeous couple's marriage was celebrated yet again — this time with a party thrown by the bride's parents Baria and Ramzi Alamuddin at the Danesfield House Hotel in England.
The newlyweds' guests were wined and dined with a cocktail reception, that was followed by a three-course meal prepared by the hotel's executive chef Billy Reid, as reported by Us Weekly. A grand piano provided the night's soundtrack, while the room was decked out with white Gypsophila flowers that contrasted with the table's black linens and tree cutting centerpieces.
Also available for the guests was a smoking room with high cocktail tables, where guests could sip on special "Mr. and Mrs. Clooney" cocktails created to embody both the bride and groom. Us Weekly's source reveals that the ingredients in his drink included ginger ale, citron vodka, lime juice, and Tequila Don Julio Reposado — fitting, given Clooney has a penchant for tequila (he owns the Casamigos brand with best friend Rande Gerber).
Before the celebration, the bride's mother spoke with the Telegraph stating, "We are all very happy. We're so looking forward to celebrating Amal and George's marriage here." She continued, "This is a lovely place for it. It will be very special. People keep asking us about the wedding and about Amal and her husband. I suppose we'll have to get used to it. I guess we're famous now."
The Clooneys were officially wed on September 27th in Venice with a bevy of famous friends in attendance including Matt Damon, Anna Wintour, Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, John Krasinksi and wife Emily Blunt, Bill Murray, and many more.
