Turns out, when you get married at Chicago's Hard Rock Hotel, you can expect some music royalty to show up. Newlyweds Joseph Scheller and Neesha Ghadiali learned that in the most exciting way during their wedding on Sunday when none other than rap icon Snoop Dogg, who was in town for the North Coast Music Festival, rolled up outside the iconic hotel in a limo.
Chris Seibel, a photographer for Allusion Photography who shot Scheller and Ghadiali's nuptials spotted the distinct-looking rapper, according to the photo studio's president, Sherry Hagerman.
The groom's mother, Mary Rose Frank, told the photographer "she was Snoop's biggest fan," and the photographer convinced Snoop Dogg's entourage to make the introduction, Hagerman said. What happened next probably made the mother of the groom happier than her son actually getting married — Snoop Dogg made his way into the hotel and found the couple!
"They had a great conversation and a ton of laughs inside the bar," Hagerman told ABC News. "Snoop was a blast to be around."
By all accounts, Snoop himself had a blast, too. "He took his phone out of his pocket and was like, 'Hey dog, can you take a couple of photos for me?'" Seibel told NBC Chicago. The rapper later shared the snapshot, above, on his Twitter and Instagram accounts with the caption, "Jus got married."
And that's how Snoop became our favorite wedding crasher.
