You'll Never Believe Who Helped Design Angelina Jolie's Wedding Dress

The more we hear about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's wedding, the more we fall in love with how they planned their family-oriented affair. The newlyweds sold their wedding photos to People and Hello! giving us and the world a close look at all of their details — and at Jolie's unbelievably unique, custom Versace wedding dress!

Her white silk-satin bridal gown perfectly accentuated her famous figure by featuring gathering at the bust. The A-line skirt and elongated train made for a classic silhouette that reportedly made Pitt gasp when he saw it. "Angelina has it all. Beauty, class and brains," Donatella Versace told Us Weekly of her A-list client. "I wish the best for her and her wonderful family."

As lovely as it was, the clean, simple design had a little something extra that put it way over the top. Luigi Massi, the master tailor at Atelier Versace, sewed dozens of designs from all six of her children's drawings into the dress and veil. The result was a fun, colorful addition to the crisp dress, and it delightfully embodied the maternal figure we've come to associate with Jolie.

"Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress," Jolie told People. "He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."

That design element makes total sense, given her outward devotion toward her children and their close involvement in the wedding. Reportedly, Maddox, 10, and Pax, 8, (who also baked the wedding cake!) walked Jolie down the aisle while Zahara, 7, and Vivienne, 3, stood in as flower girls and Shiloh, 5, and Knox, 3, served as ring bearers. All of the Pitt-Jolie youngsters also chose looks that reflected their individual personalities. As a source told E! News, "The boys all wore tiny matching cream linen suits which were just like Brad's [tux] while the girls had each chosen a dress to match their own individual style and they had them specially made."

That, plus the the fact that she carried a locket that belonged to her mother, proves one thing — this may have been a wedding of two Hollywood superstars, but it couldn't have been more down to earth.
