Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have an interesting history of exchanging gifts: Kanye once gave Kim a hand-painted Birkin bag and most recently surprised her with a nude portrait to celebrate their wedding. But Kim's birthday present to her new husband is surprisingly tame compared to previous gifts.
According to Us Weekly, Kim gave Kanye a customized My Monopoly board, which lets buyers name their own Chance and Community Chest cards, property spaces, and game pieces according to personal preference. Though don't be fooled by the seemingly urbane nature of the board game gift — the Hasbro product isn't available to the public until August.
So what did Kim do to make the classic game feel one-of-a-kind? The source says that the Palace of Versailles, where Kimye hosted pre-wedding festivites, replaced Park Avenue, while their wedding venue, Florence's Forte di Belvedere, replaced Broadway.
This gift came a tad bit later than Kanye's June 8 birthday, but Kim gave him the enormous cake, seen above, in time for the actual day.
Based on recent comments, we can only assume that the rapper would love anything his lady gave him. During his appearance at "Translation: Technology, Culture, and Consumer Adoption: Learning to Read the Cultural Landscape" held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, on Tuesday, Kanye referred to the reality star as the "number one woman in the world."
"I can't be with any girl but Kim because that's the girl I look at her pictures the most, I get turned on the most," he added. Hey, happy is happy, right?
