The 2014 Met Gala's red carpet was riddled with adorable celebrity couples (Posh and Becks! Blake and Ryan!), which nearly distracted us from the stars' drop-dead gorgeous gowns and beauty looks. The best part about this year's fashion? A few of our favorite celebs' style statements were actually very wedding-worthy! From Emma Stone's fishtail braid to Beyoncé's mini veil, here are five Met Ball looks that are fit for a (daring and fashionable) bride-to-be.

Emma Stone's Braid
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star made a bold, refreshing statement alongside co-star (and boyfriend of three years) Andrew Garfield. And as adorable and mind-numbingly attractive as they are, it was Emma's gorgeous, wedding-worthy braid that bowled us over. We love how her edgy auburn bob translates into this voluminous, perfectly undone plait. Using her own locks to act as a hair tie at the bottom takes the 'do from casual to utterly inspired. The braid juxtaposes perfectly with her sleek Thakoon ensemble, and we love it for both a modern wedding dress or a more bohemian style.

Beyoncé's Veil
Beyoncé, one half of music's ultimate power couple, turned up to the Met Gala looking like a goth-glam bride in this beaded black veil. Is it edgy? Absolutely. But somehow, when paired with her shimmering sheer, plunging Givenchy gown, it packs in the right amount of drama. A white version would be the ultimate in bridal haute couture — do you hear that, avant-garde brides?

Blake Lively's Train-Meets-Veil
Stepping out for a rare joint appearance, Blake and husband Ryan Reynolds were like a vision in golden glamour. Blake made a huge statement from the front and back in her shimmering Gucci Prèmiere gown that features a fantastic cape-veil hybrid. The form-fitting, plunging V-neck rose-gold pailetted dress, paired with her retro-glam waves and bright pink lip color, got a much-needed dash of whimsy and romance from the flowing, scarf-like back. Brides that don't want a veil to take away from their hairstyle should consider a knockout, on-trend feature like this.

Kim Kardashian's Nude Lip Color
Is she giving us a preview of her wedding-day beauty look? If so, we're pretty excited. Kim, who looked totally gorgeous in a gown by Lanvin (a potential wedding dress designer), smartly paired a nude lip with the navy dress. The shade is pink enough for her skin tone without being too overwhelming. A similar color is a smart idea for a wedding — it won't fade after the first kiss!

Rihanna's White Crop Top
We've said it once, we'll say it again: Crop tops are the next big thing for wedding dresses. Sure, Rihanna's takes the look to an extreme, but that's what we love most about her. Her snow-white Stella McCartney bared her perfectly-toned back and torso, and featured a gorgeous draped skirt and long sleeves. Close up the gap between the top and the skirt, and this would make an unforgettable wedding-day look.
