Will Jay Z Be Kanye's Best Man After All?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's Paris wedding is nine days away, but apparently some details are getting tied up at the last minute.

For starters, Kanye's dream of having Jay Z, his friend and Watch the Throne collaborator, as his best man may actually come true. Back in March, it was reported that Jay Z turned down the offer because he didn't want his famous family to appear on TV.

"Jay is Kanye's closest friend so he wants him to be best man," a source told Perez Hilton. "Jay agreed initially but had one condition — under no circumstances can there be any reality TV shows filming him, his wife Beyoncé, or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony ... The thought of popping up in KUWTK mortifies Beyoncé. She purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn't prepared to lower her standards for anyone or any occasion."

But Bey's husband reportedly experienced a change of heart after Kimye canceled their plans to televise their wedding ceremony. "The best news came when Jay sent a gift to Kanye with an inscription referring to Jay Z as the rapper's 'Best Man.' The gift was a gold-plated, diamond-encrusted flask, delivered with a $10,000 bottle of scotch, for Kanye to have for his wedding day," an insider told Radar Online. "Kanye was almost jumping up and down — he was so excited."

It looks like Kanye's wildest wedding wishes are really coming true. All that's left to hammer out, as far as we know, are prenuptial agreement details. Surprisingly, those are also up to Jay Z to address.

The prenup slowdown is the result of a business deal between Kanye and Jay Z, sources connected with Kim and Kanye told TMZ. Kanye recently dumped his old management to sign on with Jay Z's Roc Nation, which is taking its time to sign off on the document.

TMZ is also denying the report that Jay Z will be Kanye's best man, but we will have to wait until May 24 to find out for sure.
