With George Clooney and his fiancée Amal Alamuddin on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, we can't help but think that their getaway is a precursor to a destination wedding in Mexico. Clooney, Alamuddin, and several friends decamped to Clooney's Los Cabos vacation home last Thursday in preparation for a friend's wedding. With stunning Pacific Ocean views and modern architecture, it would be the perfect backdrop to his highly-anticipated nuptials.

But wait! The international playboy has other, equally dazzling location options. Where else might he marry his Oxford-educated beloved? Let's take a look.

Los Cabos: Clooney and his married friends Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber showed off the adjoining vacation homes they built and designed together to Architectural Digest last October. The beach-front property, which they call Casamigos ("House of Friends"), is on the southern tip of Mexico's Baja peninsula. They essentially use the two houses as a single home, inviting famous friends to stay there regularly. Clooney's side of the complex is so stunning that we'd suggest it for any destination wedding — his included.

Lake Como: Clooney's more renowned property, of course, is the Lake Como villa seen above, which he purchased in 2001. Since then, he's spent most of his summers at the Laglio, Italy, house, which he calls Villa Oleandra. The actor is a celebrated resident of the town, where he often brings pals and once filmed part of Oceans Twelve. The cream-colored lakefront home was even cited in Italian news reports as a credible location for a potential Brangelina wedding in 2006. Obviously, that never happened, and the same might be said for Clooney's nuptials: "Lake Como would be a beautiful wedding location, but it may not give them any privacy," a source recently told Page Six. "It is very easy for the public and paparazzi to see into the property." In fact, the vacation home has been such a magnet for press that Clooney put the villa up for sale in 2010.

Dubai: This one would be the biggest surprise — which may, in turn, make it the most likely destination. In March, Clooney traveled to Dubai to meet the Lebanese-born Alamuddin's family. There, he took her sister and her two half brothers on a 48-hour yachting excursion. He also met her parents, who took a liking to him. "They found George very easy to get along with, cool," a family member told People. "They felt at ease with him immediately." Dubai is known to be cutting-edge and cosmopolitan, words that can also be used to describe Clooney and Alamuddin. With her family already settled there, she'd likely want to say I do close by, as well.

We can't wait to find out where Clooney finally says "I do"!
