Nude Polish with Silver Glitter
Neutral polish is always sophisticated, but the hit of glitter at the nail beds is exciting, and plays up your engagement ring's sparkle. Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Shell We Dance is nude with a hint of pink for a feminine twist. To get a fade effect like the one seen here, use a glitter that has a mix of fine and chunky silver glitter, and make sure the formula is based in a clear nail polish, advises Tracylee. "For this effect, it's best to wipe off most of the clear coat from one side of the brush, leaving the other side full of the glitter flakes, she adds. "In a dabbing motion, apply the glitter, starting at the tip of the nail (applying from side to side) and working your way down toward the cuticle. Stop approximately half way down the nail. Remember the glitter needs to get sparser, the further down the nail you go. Repeat this process in a second coat (or third coat if needed) to fill in more at the tip. Apply top coat to seal."

Ombré nails, a fabulous style that's only getting more popular, get a bridal makeover with this metallic look that plays up an engagement ring band. Though Tracylee says brides should choose colors that best complement their overall wedding look and personal style, she has some technical suggestions for nailing (pun intended) the effect. "I typically would do the boldest of the metallics at the pinky nail, just because it's the smallest nail, and will complete your ombré effect, without being too strong against the other metallic," she said. Stay organized as you go from nail to nail by putting all polishes in front of you to map out the order first. And to replicate this exact look, consider using Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Wedding Glitters and Guilty Party, Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Celeb City and Coin Flip, and Sally Hansen Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Color in Antique Bronze.

Gradient French Manicure
It's about time the French manicure, a wedding nail staple, got an update. This one is just the ticket — visually appealing, yet so totally bridal! But grab some extra beauty tools to make this one happen. "You will need a makeup sponge or eye shadow applicator to complete this effect," says Tracylee. As for technique, be careful. "Make sure base nail color is completely dry before starting your gradient," says Tracylee. "It's best to apply a little at a time, in multiple layers, and use a light touch with the sponging technique. Always start where you want the most coverage of your gradient and sponge your way down the nail. This will allow a gradual fading of the polish off the sponge for a gradient effect on the nails. This look is sponged on the free edge down toward the cuticle area, then again, a little sponging at the base of the cuticle." Tracylee suggests using classic French mani colors like Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Almost Almond for the base color and then Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in White On to sponge the gradient on to the nail.

Sparkles and Stripes
The spirit nail strikes again! This time, horizontal silver stripes draw attention to a glittering engagement ring, while the other nails get a healthy dose of sparkle. The stripes in this photo were created with silver striping tape, but you can get the same effect with paint and a striping brush like the Sally Hansen I Heart Nail Art Striper Brush in Silver. To get a clean look like this one using polish, use a striper brush or painters tape to stay steady — just remember to remove the tape immediately, so it doesn't stick to the nail and ruin your design, Tracylee advises. For the nail color, she suggests using Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in White On or try Sally Hansen Diamond Strength No Chip Nail Color in White Beaches for a softer look.
