What is it about Blake Lively that makes her look so enviously radiant? Maybe it's her long blond mane, her perpetually sunkissed skin, or her dazzling pearly whites, but we feel like every time we see the California girl, she looks ready to marry Ryan Reynolds all over again. Someone get this girl into a flowing dress and a flower crown and drop her at a beach wedding, stat!
This week at the Cannes International Film Festival, Lively looked more wedding-ready than ever with sultry, tawny makeup and a long, romantic braid. We've got the scoop on how to steal her gorgeous look!
Metallic Eyes: With loose, pulled-back hair, dark smoky eyes look extra-dramatic. For a foolproof warm-toned look, start with an all-in-one brown smoky eye palette. Sweep the lighter brown shade up to your crease, the nurse the gold shade in your brow bone. Fill in with the darker brown shade near your lash line, thick gel liner around your upper and lower lashes and plenty of volumizing mascara. Hello, bedroom eyes!

Tawny cheeks: Blake has the whole Greek goddess thing down pat: Even in the bright Cannes sunshine, she looks bronzed and glowy, not cakey or shiny. The key? A generous dusting of bronzer. We like formulas with a hint of shimmer, to catch the light. Pick a hue a few shades darker than your skin tone, and, using a big fluffy brush, sweep it across the bridge of your nose and up to each cheekbone, then downwards from the middle of your forehead.

Ultralong Braid: If you've got long hair, a high braid down your back hits that sweet spot between polished an undone that's right at home with a wedding dress. Secure your hair in a high pony at the crown of your head, wrap a piece around the elastic to hide it, and loosely braid down your back, letting a few pieces escape as you go. For an extra-bridal touch, secure it with a satin ribbon or twine threaded with fresh flowers. If your hair is medium length, add a few extra inches with extensions (if you're a newbie, ask your hairstylist to put them in for you!)
